Neurobiology behind healthy dialogues based on Nonviolent Communication (NVC)

NVC is a language which supports our presence with ourselves and others, with very good results within the context of family and educational and developmental relationships.

On the training we will explore paths of our daily communication in close relations like children, family and people of our care in school, institutions, social work areas.

These moments of contact can bring us to intimacy, mutual understanding and cooperation, but so often we fail. Harm created by these events are some of the most painful experiences  and too often that leads both sides to helplessness. In a context of professional relations these disconnections can be the source of burn out for the professional and lack of efficiency in the work, and even be the source of retraumatization for the professional and for the child or client.

At these 2 webinars we will explore how the autonomic nervous system react in social situations  and explain these issues. This understanding makes us more conscious and ready to deal with dialogue in all situations, particularly in challenging ones.  Also that knowledge will help us to find the balance and contact we all aim for.
The simplicity of NVC is a powerful  attitude and understanding which brings us there, and contemporary Neurobiology confirms why this is so.

At the online workshop we will focus on these two subjects which support each other – NVC and neuroaffective power of dialogue.

Simple exercises of our “social engagement muscle” offered in this workshop, will make the complex  theories easier to digest and to use in our daily practice with people. After this 2 evenings you may have builded your resilience and improved your skills of listening with open ears and eyes.
Those two online workshops will be an introduction and invitation to a deepening workshop, that we plan in Rosenlund, Fyn in September 2021 (If Corona allows)
