Q: How do I become a certified trainer?

A: Reading the CCP is the best way to understand the requirements.
Certification Preparation Packet – CPP: https://www.cnvc.org/certification/process
Choice of assessor in Europe: https://www.nvcassessment.eu/
Choice of assessor Globally: https://www.cnvc.org/assessors

Q: I’d like to become a certified trainer – will this course lead to me being certified?

A: No. Kirsten Kristensen is not an assessor. But this course might be several steps closer to assessment and certification.
This course counts as ca. 14 days towards the 50 days with certified trainers which is the minimum requirement to qualify for assessment. See above for further details on the process of becoming certified.
Most certified trainers have significantly more than 50 days of training.

Q: Can I participate without having the goal of becoming certified?

A: Yes, this course is for everyone who wants to learn, live and share NVC. And you don’t need to decide beforehand about getting certified or not. Many go a long way on the learning path before actually registering with CNVC.

Q: Is this equivalent to an IIT – International Intensive Training?

A: No. IIT’s  are intensive 9-10 days training offered by CNVC. See more.

Q: Are there any requirements for joining the pod?

A: Yes – we recommend 12 days of training with a CNVC certified trainer. Otherwise there will be too many situations where participants may experience difficulty. A certain level of difficulty is expected for all participants, but without the required days there is a risk of impacting the fun and enjoyment for the individual and also for slowing down the learning for the rest of the group.

Q: Can I pay with a credit card?

A: Try Wise https://wise.com/ – works differently in different countries. The payment details are provided in the signup process and also below here.

Q: Will there be homework?

A: Yes – we invite the participants to meet 2 times or more with their empathy buddy between our meetings in the whole group. And we suggest you meet with your work group of 4-6 people once per 2 weeks – in addition to the course evening. However, we also expect participants to have varying backgrounds & needs with regards to the homework, allowing for some flexibility.
