Ukraine from the inside – NVC and the war

Saturday 25th February 2023, 12:00 – 14:00 CET on Zoom and at Rosenlund Kurser.

Carl Plesner, a Danish CNVC certified trainer and Peace Engineer living and working in Ukraine, shares his experience of working with NVC together with his wife Olena Hantsyak-Kaskiv in Ukraine. Carl is working with police, military, government officials and many more, training them in NVC and educating Peace Engineers who intervene in conflicts and support peaceful solutions where ever possible. Carl has lived in Ukraine since 2014 and followed the escalation from the annexation of Crimea up until the recent Russian invasion and war.

The talk will be held in English and there will be time to ask Carl questions.

Participation in this event is free of charge.

Ukrainian soldiers preparing to defend their local community against Russian invaders. They practice connecting with and expressing their feelings (blue cards on the picture) and needs (yellow cards). The guy in the middle facilitating this empathy meeting is one of our Peace Engineers, let’s call him Maksym. He is also the commander of these soldiers.

 

Following this talk is the annual general meeting of the Life-enriching communication association of Denmark (LIVKOM) from 14:00.
